Wine’d Up For 2022 Fundraiser Recap

On January 7th, STOCKTON DEMOCRATS TOGETHER held a tremendously successful virtual event called Wine’d Up For 2022. More than 50 people attended the event which featured the always amazing State Senator Susan Talamantes Eggman. She entertained us throughout the evening, highlighting the importance of getting involved this year with STOCKTON DEMOCRATS TOGETHER to raise awareness of local issues and elect the best Democratic candidates to fight for the issues that affect our daily lives.

Throughout the evening, State Senator Eggman inspired us and chatted with old friends and new. We were delighted that many San Joaquin County Young Dems attended the event. These younger folks are the current stars for a future built on social justice, equity, and equality for all working families, and a conscientious approach to energy and environmental caring. Susan also thanked the sponsors of the event and asked several of them to share why they thought it was important to support Democratic values by supporting candidates who reflected those values.

The event provided an opportunity for candidates to introduce themselves to us for the first time. Although we have no endorsed candidates yet, we continue to invite potential candidates to share their vision of a Stockton community that improves the lives of the people they want to serve.

We want to thank every person that attended, sponsored, or bought a ticket for this event. And our heartfelt thanks to State Senator Eggman for her unwavering support of making life better in the Valley.

We particularly appreciate the support of our sponsors for the event:

Platinum ($750) – Dottie Lofstrom

Gold ($500) – Anne Baird, Dwane Milnes, John Niemi, and Van Ha To-Cowell

Silver ($250) – Teresa Brown, Stephan Castellanos, Clarence Chan, Colleen Foster & Donna Brown, Kathleen Hart, Patrick Johnston, Congressman Jerry McNerney, Dennis Merrill, Steve Morales, and Tom Shephard, Sr.
