On Saturday, March 28th, Stockton Democrats Together joined hundreds of Stockton residents in taking to the streets for No Kings Day — and the energy was undeniable.
SDT Treasurer David Sengthay tabled for the club throughout the day, and by the time the crowds dispersed, we had collected over 50 new sign-ups from community members eager to get involved.
The turnout was a powerful reminder of what grassroots organizing looks like at its best — neighbors of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life standing together in defense of democratic values. From an elder showing up with a sign that read “I’m 93, here for YOUR future,” to packed intersections and handmade signs as far as the eye could see, March 28th was a day Stockton won’t forget.
